Insolvency-proof guarantee for small equipment – the catch-all category for everything under 50 cm.

In the stiftung ear system, small equipment is the residual category: electrical appliances whose external dimensions are all 50 cm or less and which do not fall into a more specific device category. This includes vacuum cleaners, kettles, toasters, shavers, food processors, electrical toys and hand tools.

Two distinctions matter: IT and telecommunications equipment under 50 cm has its own device category, and so do small photovoltaic modules. Everything else under 50 cm belongs here.

The insolvency-proof guarantee under § 7 ElektroG applies to equipment that can also be used in private households – to be proven at registration and for every calendar year.

Included in the package

• Tonnage tier of 1 t, 5 t or 10 t including buffer
• Proof of guarantee within 24 hours

Above 10 t per device category: send your volumes, receive an individual quote.

Small equipment is the device category with the most registrations – and correspondingly often the subject of collection orders. If you calculate too tightly here, you will have to top up during the year. That is why the tiers include a buffer.
