Guarantee Package – Large Equipment

Insolvency-proof guarantee for large equipment – proof within 24 hours.

Under the stiftung ear device classification, large equipment is any electrical appliance with at least one external dimension exceeding 50 cm that is not temperature exchange equipment, a screen, a lamp or a photovoltaic module. Typical examples are washing machines, dishwashers, electric cookers, large printers or exercise machines.

The 50 cm rule is the most common source of classification errors: what counts is the longest outer edge of the finished appliance – not its weight and not its packaging.

For equipment that can also be used in private households, the guarantee under § 7 ElektroG is a precondition of registration and must then be proven annually. Equipment for exclusively commercial use does not need one.
