Collection: Packaging (VerpackDG / PPWR)

The German Packaging Law Implementation Act (VerpackDG) requires producers and distributors to register packaging, license it and report volumes. Transport packaging and higher volumes trigger additional obligations.

Our scope of services:

• Take-back and recycling of transport packaging – with and without a German branch
• On-site pickup and annual volume reporting
• Declaration of completeness under § 10 VerpackDG by a ZSVR-registered auditor

On the declaration of completeness: it only becomes mandatory above certain volume thresholds. Check your annual volumes before ordering.

Transport packaging is not sales packaging. These services cover transport packaging – outer packaging used for shipping. System participation for sales packaging in the LUCID register is a separate matter.

Authorised representative for packaging: ECOPACK GmbH. Since the PPWR took effect, foreign suppliers can no longer register in the LUCID packaging register themselves – appointing an authorised representative established in Germany is mandatory. ECOPACK GmbH takes on this role for you.
