We offer 3 EPR packages for Portugal. The contracting party is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn.

  • Electrical Equipment (WEEE) – €1,400, 10–16 weeks, reporting annually
  • Batteries – €1,500, 10–16 weeks, reporting quarterly
  • Packaging – €1,500, 10–16 weeks, reporting quarterly

Note: the appointment of an authorised representative is included in the price for packaging as well as for electrical equipment (WEEE) and batteries.

Which packages do I need for Portugal?

One package per waste stream. Electrical Equipment (WEEE) €1,400, Batteries €1,500, Packaging €1,500, each net per calendar year. Portugal has no combined package — if you ship devices with a battery in a cardboard box, you need all three.

How often do I have to report in Portugal?

Electrical equipment (WEEE) annually, batteries and packaging quarterly. We monitor the ongoing reporting deadlines for you.

How long does registration in Portugal take?

10–16 weeks. These are values from experience, not guaranteed results. You may not sell while the registration is pending, so plan the lead time in.

What does an additional notification or a deregistration cost?

Quoted separately. Outside Germany and Italy these transactions depend on the respective register; we quote the price in advance.
