EPR Sweden

Sweden requires a separate registration for electrical equipment, batteries and packaging. Manufacturers without a branch in Sweden need an authorised representative on site – that role is performed by our group company Ecopv-sweden AB, based in Åkersberga near Stockholm.

  • Electrical equipment (WEEE) – 6–10 weeks, monthly reports, 500 SEK basic recycling included
  • Portable batteries – 6–10 weeks, monthly reports; the price includes membership of the Swedish PRO, whose battery fees are well above the European average
  • Packaging – 6–10 weeks, quarterly reports; the price depends on your annual volume (under or over 1 t)

Sweden is one of the countries with a monthly reporting obligation for electrical equipment and batteries – more frequent than in most EU states. We handle the ongoing reports; you only supply the quantities.

Since 12 August 2026 Amazon has been verifying packaging registration in every EU country in which you sell or store. In Sweden, listings without a valid registration number are deactivated without warning.
