EPR Netherlands

The Netherlands is the most straightforward market in our portfolio: an authorised representative is not required here. You register directly and we handle registration and reporting. That makes the packages considerably cheaper than in most other EU countries.

  • Electrical equipment (WEEE) – 2–4 weeks, annual report, €30 basic recycling included
  • Batteries (portable and light-transport batteries) – 2–4 weeks, annual report
  • Packaging – 8–12 weeks, annual report
  • Bundles – electrical equipment + packaging or batteries + packaging, cheaper than booking separately

For electrical equipment and batteries, registration is often complete within two to four weeks – faster than in any other country in this overview. Packaging takes longer; allow eight to twelve weeks here.

Since 12 August 2026 Amazon has been verifying packaging registration in every EU country in which you sell or store. The Netherlands is one of the countries where listings without a valid number are deactivated immediately.
