Insolvency-proof guarantee for temperature exchange equipment – proof within 24 hours, for the guarantee year of your choice.

stiftung ear counts as temperature exchange equipment every appliance with an integrated circuit in which substances other than water – gases, oils, coolants or refrigerants – are used for cooling, heating or dehumidifying. Size is irrelevant: from wine coolers and air conditioners to dehumidifiers and heat pumps, everything falls into this device category.

Because these appliances contain refrigerants and oils, treating them is more complex than other waste equipment. That is reflected in the level of the guarantee.

An insolvency-proof guarantee under § 7 ElektroG is required from every producer whose equipment can also be used in private households (b2c). It is demanded at registration and must be proven again for every calendar year. Equipment used exclusively in a commercial setting (b2b) does not need one.
