Guarantee Package – Gas Discharge Lamps

Insolvency-proof guarantee for gas discharge lamps – separate device category, separate proof.

stiftung ear lists fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent lamps and high-intensity discharge lamps separately from other lamps. The reason is their mercury content: these lamps must be treated as hazardous waste, and collection and recovery run separately.

Anyone placing such lamps on the market who may reach private households needs an insolvency-proof guarantee under § 7 ElektroG – for the current and every following calendar year. If you also sell LED or halogen lamps, you need a second guarantee in the "lamps" device category.

Included in the package

• Guarantee year 2024, 2025 or 2026
• Tonnage tier of 1 t, 5 t or 10 t including buffer
• Proof of guarantee within 24 hours, usable directly for your registration

From 10 t per device category upwards we prepare an individual quote.

Here too, reporting is in kilograms. Because a single tube weighs so little, many producers underestimate their annual volume – check your sales figures before choosing a tier. Without a guarantee, stiftung ear will not grant registration; and without registration you may not sell in Germany.
