What does the electrical and electronic equipment service package (WEEE) for Germany cover?
Electrical and electronic equipment service package (WEEE) – Germany (2026 + 2027): €700 net.
This package enables foreign companies to fulfil their extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations for electrical and electronic equipment in Germany. The package covers the years 2026 and 2027.
What services are included?
- Authorised Representative in Germany for the 2026 + 2027 service period
- Registration with the relevant authority
- Monthly volume reporting during the contract period
- Insolvency-proof guarantee for up to 10 tonnes (depending on the category)
- Ongoing communication with the relevant authorities in Germany
The contract partner and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn.
What is the cost of the service and what terms and conditions apply?
- Price: €700 net for the 2026 + 2027 service period, plus VAT
- Disposal: Disposal costs not included
- Time until registration: 6–8 weeks
- Reporting frequency: monthly
- Additional brand / category: Category €125 · Brand €69
- Deregistration: €15
Not included: volume-dependent disposal or scheme fees, official fees, unless expressly stated, statutory VAT, bank charges for transfers.
Important notes
- If changes in German law result in additional costs for us (e.g. a new requirement for an authorised representative or higher official fees), we reserve the right to pass these on. If these fees are not paid on time, we are entitled to cancel the relevant registrations or certificates.
- The customer is responsible for all bank charges incurred when transferring official fees and ECOPV service fees.
