Anyone placing both electrical equipment and batteries on the Italian market needs two separate registrations. This bundle combines them – at a price €280 below the sum of the individual packages.
The most common case in practice: you sell a device with a built-in rechargeable battery. You are then placing both an electrical device and a battery on the market, and both registration obligations apply.
Scope of services
- Appointment of an authorised representative established in Italy for both waste streams
- Registration as a producer of electrical and electronic equipment
- Registration as a battery producer (portable, industrial and vehicle batteries)
- Annual quantity report for both waste streams
- Ongoing communication with the authority and the recycling systems
The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn. The role of authorised representative in Italy is performed by our group company ECOPV-ITALY S.R.L., based in Milan. Both companies belong to the ECOPV group; there is no third party in the chain.
