Anyone placing electrical and electronic equipment on the Italian market must register before the first sale. Manufacturers without a branch in Italy need an authorised representative on site. This service package covers representation, registration and ongoing reporting.
Scope of services

- Registration as a producer of electrical and electronic equipment
- Annual quantity report for the equipment placed on the Italian market
- Ongoing communication with the authority and the recycling system
The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn. The role of authorised representative in Italy is performed by our group company ECOPV-ITALY S.R.L., based in Milan. Both companies belong to the ECOPV group; there is no third party in the chain.

Italy is one of the countries with longer processing times. If you need to be ready to sell by a fixed date, allow around three months of lead time.

- Manufacturers and importers dispatching their goods from an Italian warehouse
- Companies already registered in Germany that want to add Italy – the German WEEE registration does not apply in Italy
