Guarantee for Authorized Representatives

Authorised representatives assume the WEEE obligations for producers without an establishment in Germany. This includes providing an insolvency-proof guarantee under § 7 ElektroG4 of the represented B2C equipment.

We provide the guarantee per device category as a tonnage package, including buffer and guarantee year. The guarantee certificate is issued within 24 hours.

Unsure about classification? Assigning a device to the correct category determines both package and price. If you are not certain which category your device belongs to, we clarify this with you beforehand.

Prices quoted are net; stiftung ear fees are not included. For larger planned volumes you will receive an individual quote.

Who needs these packages. They are aimed at authorised representatives acting for foreign producers – not at producers with their own German branch. For those, see Guarantee for Producers.

The guarantee is provided per device category and per represented producer. If you represent several producers, you need several certificates accordingly.

Appointment as authorised representative and the corresponding registration run through WEEE Compliance. Collection orders are covered by ElektroG Disposal.

ECOPV-EU GmbH acts as authorised representative for WEEE and batteries (ElektroG, BattDG). Representation and guarantee therefore come from one source – you need only one contracting party for both building blocks.
