Anyone shipping batteries to the Netherlands almost always places packaging on the market as well – and therefore needs two separate registrations. This bundle combines both for €120 instead of €150 when booked separately.
As with all Dutch packages: an authorised representative is not required.
Scope of services
- Registration as a battery producer (portable batteries and batteries for light means of transport)
- Registration for packaging
- Annual quantity report for both waste streams
- Ongoing communication with the authority and the recycling systems
The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn.

The lead time follows the slower of the two streams: batteries alone would be registered in 2 to 4 weeks, packaging takes 8 to 12 weeks.
