Anyone shipping goods to the Netherlands also places packaging on the market and is subject to packaging producer responsibility. An authorised representative is not required – which is why, at €50, this is the cheapest packaging package in our entire portfolio.
Since 12 August 2026 Amazon has been verifying packaging registration in every EU country in which you sell or store. In the Netherlands, listings without a valid registration number are deactivated with no transition period.

Note: unlike electrical equipment and batteries, which are registered in the Netherlands within two to four weeks, packaging registration takes 8 to 12 weeks. Plan your lead time accordingly.
Who is this package for?
- Sellers shipping goods to Dutch end customers – via their own shop, Amazon, eBay or other marketplaces
- Manufacturers and importers dispatching their goods from a Dutch warehouse
- Companies already registered in the German packaging register LUCID that want to add the Netherlands – the German registration does not apply there
