Photovoltaic Modules (WEEE Cat. 7) – Spain
Photovoltaic Modules (WEEE Cat. 7) – Spain
Couldn't load pickup availability
Spain treats photovoltaic modules as their own equipment category 7 – separate from all other electrical equipment. Anyone supplying modules to Spain therefore registers under category 7, not under the general categories 1 to 6.
The real value of this package is the 40 tonnes of recycling costs included. Photovoltaic modules are heavy: a single standard module weighs around 20 to 25 kg. The included 40 t therefore covers a volume that would cost a multiple of this for other equipment categories.
The Hague apostille is included
Spanish registration requires a certified power of attorney bearing a Hague apostille. That fee is already included in our price.
Scope of services
- Appointment of an authorised representative established in Spain
- Certification and Hague apostille of the power of attorney
- Registration under equipment category 7 (photovoltaic modules)
- Annual quantity report for the modules placed on the Spanish market
- Ongoing communication with the authority and the recycling system
The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn. The role of authorised representative in Spain is performed for us by a partner company, as the law requires a person established in Spain.
