Anyone shipping goods to Austria also places packaging on the market and is subject to packaging producer responsibility. Manufacturers without a branch in Austria need an authorised representative on site.
Since 12 August 2026 Amazon has been verifying packaging registration in every EU country in which you sell or store – Austria included. Precisely because of the long lead time, Austria is the country where putting it off is most expensive.
