Anyone shipping goods to Belgium also places packaging on the market and is subject to packaging producer responsibility. Manufacturers without a branch in Belgium need an authorised representative on site.
Since 12 August 2026 Amazon has been verifying packaging registration in every EU country in which you sell or store – Belgium included. Listings without a valid registration number are blocked.

The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn. The role of authorised representative in Belgium is performed by our group company ECOPV srl, based in Uccle near Brussels. Both companies belong to the ECOPV group; there is no third party in the chain.

Plan the lead time. At up to 14 weeks, Belgian packaging registration is among the longer ones in the EU – considerably longer than the 6 to 8 weeks for electrical equipment and batteries in the same country.
