Anyone placing electrical and electronic equipment on the Belgian market must register before the first sale. Manufacturers without a branch in Belgium need an authorised representative on site.
Scope of services
- Appointment of an authorised representative established in Belgium
- Registration as a producer of electrical and electronic equipment
- Quarterly quantity reports for the equipment placed on the Belgian market
- Ongoing communication with the authority and the recycling system
The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn. The role of authorised representative in Belgium is performed by our group company ECOPV srl, based in Uccle near Brussels. Both companies belong to the ECOPV group; there is no third party in the chain.

Note the reporting frequency: in Belgium, electrical equipment is reported quarterly, not annually. We take care of the ongoing deadlines for you.
