Austria combines electrical equipment and batteries in a single service package – so you do not need two separate packages as in most other countries. Manufacturers without a branch in Austria need an authorised representative on site.

The contracting party and invoicing entity is ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Eschborn. The role of authorised representative in Austria is performed by ECOPV-EU GmbH, based in Salzburg. Both belong to the ECOPV group; there is no third party in the chain.

Plan the lead time. Applications in Austria are submitted in quarterly batches, which results in three to four months of processing time. That is the longest lead time in our entire portfolio. If you want to be ready to sell by the turn of the year, start in late summer at the latest.
