WEEE (B2C) – Report Additional Device Category, With Branch in Germany

Registration with the authority is a legal requirement for all electrical equipment you place on the market and must be actively applied for. B2C electrical equipment is equipment intended for use in private households – generally in private living spaces, in particular flats, including the associated land and building areas.

Please keep your registration data with the authority up to date at all times. If you expand your range to include equipment that your existing registration does not yet cover, you can report an additional device category (Geräteart) here.

Each device category must be registered separately. If you want to report several device categories, please add this item to your cart the corresponding number of times.

After your order, we will contact you promptly to collect all the information required for the notification.

You can use the classification aids on the stiftung ear platform to check which device category your new equipment belongs to.

Once the registration is complete, stiftung ear will invoice you for its fees; payment must be made promptly via the official stiftung ear payment channels.
