Battery Service Package – With Branch in Germany, No ear Account (2026)

This package is for manufacturers with a branch in Germany who do not yet have an account with stiftung ear. We handle the initial registration as well as all recurring obligations under the BattDG.

Our service package includes:

• Initial registration of the contractual partner with stiftung ear
• Ongoing account management
• Connection to an approved producer responsibility organisation (OfH)
• Quotes for the collection and recycling of waste portable batteries
• Assistance with information and notification obligations
• Preparation of all documents required for official review and their submission to the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt)

Annual quantity limits for this package:

• Up to 200 kg of portable batteries per calendar year
• Up to 4,000 button cells per calendar year
• One brand (additional brands can be added via the corresponding item in our shop)

If your volumes exceed these limits, please contact us.

For battery categories other than portable batteries, please contact our customer service. These include LV batteries (batteries for light means of transport), electric vehicle batteries, industrial batteries and starter batteries.

By completing your order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted our General Terms and Conditions, and you grant us the authorisation required for the services described.

The price applies to one calendar year. For subsequent years of the service period, you will receive a separate renewal invoice.
