VE service: declaration of completeness by an authorized ZSVR auditor (§11 VerpackG)

Companies with high packaging volumes are required to submit an audited declaration of completeness for the previous year by May 15 every year. An auditor registered with the Central Agency Packaging Register (ZSVR) must carry out the audit. Should the submission deadline fall on a weekend or a public holiday, it is postponed to the next working day, and an extension of the deadline is not allowed.

The limit values for a test are set out below:

• ≥ 80,000 kg glass and/or
• ≥ 50,000 kg paper/cardboard/cardboard and/or
• ≥ 30,000 kg of lightweight packaging (sum of packaging made of ferrous metals, aluminum, plastic, beverage cartons or other composite packaging)

The service includes the audit confirmation and the audit report of the appointed auditor*.
