Listings without a valid registration number are blocked.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat is the Identifiant Unique (IDU)?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Identifiant Unique (IDU) is the proof of your registration. The French environment agency ADEME issues it once you have joined an approved eco-organisation and publishes it in the public SYDEREP register. It has been mandatory since 1 January 2022.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou receive \u003cstrong\u003eone IDU per waste stream\u003c\/strong\u003e – anyone supplying both packaging and electrical equipment to France needs two.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe IDU must be stated in your general terms and conditions and provided to buyers on request.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMarketplaces cross-check the IDU against the SYDEREP register.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor household packaging (emballages ménagers), Citeo is the responsible eco-organisation.
